Questions

What is an access ID?

A personal code we send after you buy Pro. Paste it in Peekoo › Settings › Buddies to unlock Alex, Byte and Lumi. Downloading Peekoo is free and needs no code.

Which Macs does it run on?

Any Mac with macOS 14 Sonoma or later, Apple silicon or Intel.

macOS says it can’t check Peekoo for malicious software. What do I do?

Peekoo isn’t on the Mac App Store yet, so macOS asks once. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway next to Peekoo. On older macOS you can also right-click Peekoo › Open.

Does Peekoo send my reminders anywhere?

No. Reminders and to-dos stay on your Mac. The app only goes online to unlock Pro and to check for updates.

How do updates work?

Peekoo tells you when a new version is ready and downloads it for you. Drag it into Applications to replace the old one.

On how many Macs can I use Pro?

Up to 3 of your own Macs with one access ID.
